Afghanistan have played its home Match in Tajikistan due to security reasons in Afghanistan.
First Leg Favored Palestine which they defeated Afghanistan 2-0, boosting its chances of reaching the second round. Murad Alyan scored the first goal for Palestine in the 28th minute. Ismail Alamour got the second in the closing stages of the second half.
Second leg started with the first goal of Wadi Hossam for Palestibe in the 11th minute, while young Afghan striker Bilal Arezou scored the second goal which was assisted by me (Israfeel Kohistani) equalised in the 63rd.The second Leg match was favoring Afghanistan which the whole game and the control was in our hand.
The match was played in the newly upgraded Faisal Husseini National Stadium in Al-Ram, near the Israeli security fence separating the occupied West Bank from Jerusalem.
Afghanistan's dream of reaching world cup finished by Palestine, which they lost 3-1 on aggregate to palestine.
